I must accept the geek that I am

Geek Test Results
You are 67.5% geeky.

Not bad. Maybe you spend a little too much time with your computer, but at least you have friends. You do have friends, right?

The current average score is: 32.66%

Fact: 17.45% of people who took this test claim to have attempted to build a robot.

Take the test

here's a funny story about the geek test and david - david reads his email (and conducts much of his daily business) in a unix shell, and a couple of years ago he was sent this link (or one rather like it), as was i and several other of our shared friends. we took the test and starting reporting results, and david's contribution was something like: "i can't find out how much of a geek i am because the test isn't compatible with my text-only browser!"

i think that he went ahead and used another browser, but we all agreed that the test seemed somewhat moot at that point ;)

for the record, i took the test myself just now and i scored 65%. The factoid that I got was "6.73% of people who took this test wear a bum-bag on holiday," which is perfect, because i was already planning to comment on how i find 'bum-bag' to be a brilliant alternative to 'fanny-pack.' all hail british humour.

I'm a 22.5. Can't believe I actually even qualified for a score!! It must be because I'm the Mom of a geek ;-)

77.5% here.

I suppose that one occasion where I showed up to work during undergrad and went on tech support calls in a Star Trek uniform does give an indication the results would skew that way, though.

30% geeky. Apparently 21.5% of people who took the test believe in the force. What kind of people are on the internet these days?
